OUR HISTORY

+++ Columbia Christian School was founded in 1998 as a ministry of First Baptist Church of Magnolia, Arkansas, under the leadership of Pastor David Watkins. Mr. John Steelman was hired as the administrator.


+++ In 2000, an Upper School building was added to our campus. A new science lab and computer lab soon followed. Twenty-three additional acres of land were purchased in 2001.


+++ In January 2006, the Board of Directors adopted a new building program. This phase ended with the completion of our Early Childhood Education Center in August of 2006.


+++ August 2007 saw the completion of a new Middle School building.


+++ In the fall of 2011, our CCS multi-purpose complex was completed. This is a 60,000 square foot building that serves as our gymnasium, full service cafeteria, College Academic Experience (CAE) and music classrooms.


+++ In 2012, Dr. Marla Strecker became the Executive Director of CCS.


+++ In 2013, Dr. Richard Britt became the Superintendent of CCS.


+++ In 2016, Mr. Ted Waller became the Superintendent of CCS


+++ CCS currently has 211 total enrollment and 62 staff.
