The Columbia Christian Schools (CCS) archery teams delivered an outstanding performance this past weekend at the Arkansas 3D state tournament held in Pangburn, Arkansas. The CCS elementary team earned an impressive 1st place finish in the team division, while the CCS middle school team competed strongly to secure 8th place.
Individually, CCS elementary archers had an exceptional showing. Dawson Carr claimed 1st place, followed by Colton Lewis with a 3rd place finish and Parker Warr placing 4th. In the girls’ division, Ellee Hudgens placed 3rd, and Hannah Triplet earned 4th place, showcasing the depth of talent across the team.
With this victory, the CCS elementary team is now ranked 1st in Arkansas and 11th in the nation, while the middle school team holds the 10th spot in the state and 201st nationally. Both teams have qualified to compete at the National Archery Tournament in Sandy, Utah, scheduled for April 23–26.
Pictured are members of the CCS elementary team alongside standout archers Colton Lewis and Dawson Carr, and head coach Victoria Allison.
The Columbia Christian community is incredibly proud of these student-athletes and looks forward to cheering them on as they represent their school and state on the national stage.
