📚✨ Read-A-Thon Success—Beyond Our Wildest Dreams! ✨📚

Words can’t fully express how grateful we are for the incredible success of our Read-A-Thon!

Because of your generosity, we didn’t just meet our $500 goal—we surpassed it on the very first day! By the end, we raised an amazing $3,665 for our school library! 🎉

Even more exciting, our students read a combined total of 15,249 minutes over two weeks! Our top reader logged an impressive 4,600+ minutes, far exceeding our original goal of 500–1,000 minutes. What an accomplishment!

The enthusiasm has been contagious—students are already sharing ideas for new books they’d love to see in the library. Their excitement for reading and learning has truly been the best reward. 📖💙

We’re also thrilled to share that a portion of the funds will go toward helping our elementary teachers add new books to their classroom libraries.

We are so thankful for your support, encouragement, and generosity. It is a true blessing to be part of such a wonderful school family!

Thank you for making this Read-A-Thon unforgettable! 💛

The Read-A-Thon was a HUGE success!!! 🎉

Our total donations reached $3,740, with $2,817.00 going directly to the school. Even more impressive, students logged a combined 15,249 minutes of reading!!! That total was truly amazing!

Congratulations to our winning classes:

Brandi Minter’s class raised the most money with $905.00!
Taegan Metcalf’s class read the most minutes with 5,181 minutes!

These classes will enjoy a Coke and popcorn party this Thursday, May 7 at 2:00 PM.

Top individual achievements:

Most donations: Asher Cheatham with $450
Most minutes read: Anna Grace Gibbens with 4,679 minutes

Asher and Anna Grace will each receive a tub of cookies from Chicken Express, a gift basket with goodies from local businesses, and a gift card to The Tattered Page bookstore.

Thank you to everyone who supported our students and encouraged a love of reading—what an incredible event! 📚

K-5th grades:
Columbia Christian School readers—be sure to spend your RAT Bucks in the prize store! The Read-A-Thon ends this afternoon, and students will have 10 days to use their RAT Bucks. Any RAT Bucks not spent within those 10 days will expire, and the prize store cannot be reopened once it closes.

Please remember: RAT Bucks are earned from donations, not from minutes read. All prizes will be shipped directly to the school.

People may still do donations thru Thursday, May 14. The prize store will also close on May 14.
