These CCS students won ribbons at the Columbia County Fair for the art work they made in Mrs. Newton's class. Students had to design a stencil, cut out with an Xacto knife and paint with it. Then they designed a name plate at the top that went along with the animal. The animal had to symbolize the student in some way.
Jackson Martin received 1st place for his stencil art.
McKayla Newton received 1st on her koi sculpture , 1st on her acrylic church painting, and 2nd on her bat sculpture.
Eli Penick received 2nd for his stencil art.
Jed Mitchell received 3rd for his stencil art.
Josie Booth received three 1st place ribbons and one 2nd for her drawings.
Great job, students!
