Good morning! Remember that tomorrow, Friday, November 7, is Grandparents Day! We will have a special guest, Dennis Swanberg. It starts at 10:00 am and will last about an hour. SCHOOL WILL BE DISMISSED AFTERWARDS! See you there!

Last week, our chapter had the privilege of attending our first FBLA District Meeting, and we’re thrilled to be officially diving into all things Future Business Leaders of America!
We’re building a strong foundation for our chapter, getting involved in fun and educational FBLA activities, and learning from other students and advisors in our district. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see our members grow, compete, and make an impact in our school and community!

Parents of 5th-12th grade girls: There will be a parent meeting for students interested in softball on Monday, November 3 in the gym. 5th-8th grade parents will meet at 5:30 and 9th-12th grade parents will meet at 6:15. Thanks!

CCS maintains a zero‑tolerance policy for possession, use, or distribution of any “pouches” that contain nicotine, tobacco, or high‑concentrated caffeine (including but not limited to products marketed as nicotine pouches, caffeine pouches, or similar delivery devices) while on campus, at school‑sponsored events, in school vehicles, or during any school‑related activity.
• Students found in possession of such pouches will be subject to out‑of‑school suspension (OSS) and a parent/guardian conference.
• Students who distribute, sell, or share these pouches will face expulsion from school, subject to the applicable student discipline policy and Arkansas law.
• Any staff member who encounters a pouch will confiscate it immediately and refer the matter to administration.
• Parents/guardians are asked to assist by monitoring students’ belongings and assuring these items are not brought to school or school events.
The use of these products by minors presents serious health risks, including addiction, cardiovascular issues, and disruption of the learning environment. The school’s primary responsibility is to maintain a safe, healthy, and focused atmosphere for all students.
