We had special guest speakers at chapel this week! John and Sharon Henry came and shared with us about their recent mission trip to visit the Quilmans in Africa. We loved hearing about their trip, hearing about how the Lord used them for His glory and seeing all of their pictures! Thank you for taking time out of your day to come and spend it with our students!

Columbia Christian School was proudly represented at last week’s Columbia County Fair and Livestock Show!

Our talented CCS students showcased an impressive variety of livestock—from poultry and rabbits to hogs, lambs, and cattle.

We’re thrilled to share that many of them earned top honors, bringing home Grand and Reserve Champion titles in their respective categories!

Congratulations to all our hardworking students for your dedication, sportsmanship, and success in the ring—you’ve made CCS proud! 💙💛

Faithwear Week – October 13-16, 2025

As a Christian school, we strive to foster an environment where students can express their faith meaningfully and appropriately. In light of student interest, we are designating the week of October 13–16 as Faithwear Week in the middle and high school.

What’s Allowed
Middle and high-school students may wear Christian-themed shirts in place of their uniform tops Monday, October 13-Thursday, October 16, with one exception -
chapel day. Shirts may include Bible verses, cross imagery, or other faith-based messages consistent with the mission and values of our school.
All shirts must be school-appropriate in message, tone, and design.
Uniform bottoms/jeans and shoes are still required each day (hats are not permitted).

Please note
Wednesday, October 15th, is our regular chapel day, and all students
are required to wear their full chapel uniform on that day.
No exceptions will be made for themed attire during
chapel day.

This themed week provides a voluntary opportunity for students to
reflect their Christian identity in visible, respectful ways. It is not affiliated
with any outside organization, political message, or social movement. Our goal
is to promote spiritual unity, kindness, and thoughtful expression within our
community.

Reminder about See You At the Pole - Sept. 24

This September, our elementary students focused on what it means to be a "Good Image
Bearer of God." They've been learning that using kind words and treating others with
respect truly matters. We used the verse out of James 3:4 and how our words can
dangerous and out of Genesis 1: 26 when God says, “Let us make man in our image...”
Our students in kindergarten through 5th grade participated in a project where they wrote
phrases and drew pictures to show what this looks like in their lives. We were so impressed
with their creativity and thoughtfulness!
We're excited to announce the winners of our September contest. Here is a photo of the
students whose work was chosen to represent our theme.
Congratulations to all our winners!
Kindergarten: Clara Johnson, Abraham Morales; 1st Grade: Asher Cheatham, Brynlee
Carr; 2nd Grade: Kendall Speake, Quinton Hall; 3rd Grade: Keaton Collier, Mandy Dees: 4th
Grade: Ryker Haire, Aubrey Neal: 5th Grade: Isaiah Jackson, Harper Huang
