Thank you!

Tomorrow all students are to wear jeans or khaki bottoms with a nice Christmas sweater/shirt for Christmas chapel, and not their regular chapel attire. Boys could also wear a nice button up shirt if they would like. If your 7-12 grade girl is on the sign language team, she is to wear black on black. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me! We hope you are able to attend this event! Also, please be reminded of the Christmas love offering that will be collected in the morning!

We’re proud to share that two of our very own Columbia Clovers 4H members and Columbia County 4H Teen Leaders Nora Smith and Ashlyn Fullenwider attended the Ag Youth Leadership Day at the 91st Arkansas Farm Bureau Annual Convention in Hot Springs. They joined over 300 students from across Arkansas to connect with agricultural leaders, hear inspiring speakers and take part in hands-on activities created specifically for youth in agriculture. Way to represent our School, and Columbia County 4H, Nora and Ashlyn. Your leadership and passion for agriculture make us proud.

☕ THANK YOU for an AMAZING SADER CUP Fundraiser! ☕ Our FBLA Coffee Fundraiser was a HUGE success, and it’s all thanks to our incredible community! We were blown away by the turnout, the support, and the excitement everyone brought to The Sader Cup. Our students worked hard planning, preparing, and serving—and seeing you show up made every minute worth it. Because of your support, our FBLA members are gaining real-world experience in leadership, customer service, business operations, and teamwork. 🤎 Your morning coffee helped our students grow, compete, and reach new goals! And guess what? After such a great response… ✨ We’re already excited and brainstorming our NEXT coffee fundraiser! ✨ Stay tuned for updates—more delicious drinks and more student opportunities are coming soon. Thank you again for always supporting our school, our students, and their future. You make events like this possible! 💛

Welcome our new Instructional Technologist Melanie Hansen!

Hello! My name is Melanie Hansen. I’m married to my husband Ben, and we’re expecting our first baby this spring. I grew up moving around Colorado, Arkansas, and Texas due to my father’s ministry work before settling in East Texas and eventually relocating to Magnolia.

I spent several years working as a Data Analytics Developer and Project Manager before pursuing a change that allowed me to focus more on people and connection. I love getting to know others, building relationships, and helping make technology feel less intimidating and more approachable.

Outside of work, I love animals, bicycling, and playing board games. I also love thrifting and collecting antique teacups. Some of my favorites in my collection include one made in occupied Japan shortly after World War II and another from Russia during the USSR, which are both fascinating pieces of history.

My favorite book of the Bible is Ecclesiastes, and Ecclesiastes 11:7 reminds me daily how sweet it is to simply be alive and to behold the light each morning. I’m excited to get to know and serve alongside you all. My door is always open, and I’m always happy to help or just chat.
