CCS inducted 15 new members into the inaugural chapter of Mu Alpha Theta, an honor math society, on Thursday Oct 9, 2025. These students have excelled in math and kept a high cumulative GPA over several semesters. Mrs. Lauren Gibbens, an engineer from Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control was the keynote speaker for the ceremony. Inducted members included: Meleah Blanchard, Brody Braswell, Landon Burley, Symphonie Campbell, Sydney Edwards, Katy Goodheart, Ruston Hern, Anna Kate Martin, Isabella Mustafa, Sophia Newton, Ester Tial, Abigail Triplet, Adley Walker, Griffin Wiggins and Noah Lewis (not pictured). Congratulations to these students on their accomplishments! Serving as chapter sponsors are high school math teacher, Leanna Herring and CCS School counselor, Mary Heinze.

JH Volleyball will play this Saturday, October 11th in the District Tournament as the #2 seed from conference play. Their first game will be semi final #2 at 2pm here at CCS.
SR High Volleyball will play Tuesday, October 14th in the Varsity District Tournament as the #2 seed from conference play. Their first game will be semi final #2 at 4pm at Lafayette County High School.
